A United Airlines Boeing aircraft landed at an Oregon airport on Friday with an external panel missing, the airline said.
United Flight 433 departed from San Francisco and landed safely at its destination, Rogue Valley International/Medford Airport in Medford, Oregon, around 11:30 a.m., a United spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
After the aircraft was parked at the gate, it was determined that an exterior panel was missing, the airline said. ‘ We will conduct a thorough inspection of the aircraft and make any necessary repairs before returning it to service.
The Boeing 737 was carrying 139 passengers and 6 crew. No one was injured.
Operations at the airport were briefly suspended while a safety check of the runway was completed, and no debris was found said Medford Airport Director Amber Judd
